The eviction of a family in Errenteria has been postponed for three months

Thanks to the mediation of the Errenteria City Council with CaixaBank and the Building Center, the eviction of a marriage and its son hasbeen delayed by three months, since the mother wasconfused with another person ofthe same name and surname .
The Stop Evictions platform has reported that the judge's decision has given the family a "respite zone."
The judge has issued an order confirming the sentence and eviction on the grounds that the application for amparo filed by the family with the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, 8 July, does not suspend the sentence or the plaintiff's right to recover the house.
The platform has stated that this decision "gives the family a break" and helps find an alternative.
"It allows us, after the holidays, to continue the legal process and the discussions with the lessor CAIXABANK, to seek a place of residence for that family, taking into account its proven vulnerability and the situationof residential emergency in the tense municipality of Errenteria. "
