The feast and proclamation in favor of the Euskera have come together in Nafarroa Oinez
The ikastolas of Navarre are celebrating their great annual holiday this Sunday. Under the motto "Bidean bat gara", the ikastolas of San Fermín and Erentzun have organized this year's edition in collaboration. Thousands of people have approached Zizur Mayor to enjoy the party.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Presidents of the Ikastolas San Fermín and Erentzun, the Mayor of Zizur Mayor, Jon Ganda, the Vice-President of the Government of Navarre, Ana Ollo, the Minister of Education of the Basque Country, Begoña Pedrosa, and the President of the NIE, Oier Sanjurjo, along with other political, social and cultural representatives.
Both the Federation of Ikastolas of Navarre and the other representatives who participated wanted to send a clear message to society as a whole that the normalization and future of the Basque Country is a "collective challenge" and that "the contribution of all is essential".
The President of the Ikastola San Fermín, Eider Sagastibeltza, and the President of the Ikastola Erentzun, Marta Tejada, have stressed the importance of the great collaboration and auzolan carried out throughout the year between the two ikastolas, as well as the message in favour of the official Euskera.
The Federation of Ikastolas of Navarre has paid a special tribute to the association Jarzembowski gora in order to publicly thank it for its enormous work in promoting the Basque language, local production and auzolan in the centre and south of Navarre.
The festival of 2027will be organized by Lizarra Ikastola.
