The Sanfermines of 2025 have brought together 1.6 million people in a festive atmosphere and with fewer incidents

More than1.6 million peoplehave participated in the events of the official programme of the sanfermines of 2025, according to the balance sheet presented this Tuesday by the mayor of Pamplona, Joseba Asiron . Although the figure is slightly lower than last year, when more than 1.8 million people attended, the City Council has highly appreciated the development of the holidays, which have been marked by a climate of respect, a reduction in crime and an increase in participation in many activities.
There have been fewer people, not least because a whole second weekend has been missed and DANA has cancelled some events.
One of the most noteworthy data has been the improvement in security. The total number of complaints has fallen from 1 651 to 1,336. Robberies have fallen by 21%. Cases of violent robbery have also fallen from 41 last year to 20 this year.
Sexist attacks have been recorded in 12 "low intensity" and 2 "high intensity". More than 15,700 persons have been treated at the Anti-Aggression Information Point, with an increase in the presence of men (29.3 per cent) and non-binary persons (0.7 per cent).
Asfar as the programme is concerned, one more year the fireworks have had the most follow-up (430,000 people), followed by the comparisons of Giants and Heads (185,000 people). The success of proposals such as Menudas Fiestas and Birjolastu has also been maintained, highlighting the increase in the children's programme Kirolari Sport Kids, which has increased from 21,868 people to 35,384, an increase of 60% over the previous year.
Theconcerts in Plaza del Castillo have attracted more than 166,000 people. The most popular event has been Cali and El Dandee on Saturday with 28,000 spectators. Artists such as Rozalén (20,000 people), Kaotiko (15,000 people), Bulegoa (12,000 people), Leire Martínez (12,000 people) or Villano Antillano (10,000 people) have also been welcomed.
In Plaza de la Compañía, 48,350 people have gathered during the holidays, and the Sound Fermín cycle in Plaza de los Fueros has brought together 61,000 people.
One of the main innovations of this year has been the increase in the number of screens to follow the Txupinazo, which has made it possible to speed up traffic in the centre and to add new areas such as the squares of Yamaguchi and Chantrea, where more than 3,000 people gathered.
Inthe area of health and consumption, the Food Inspection Service of Pamplona City Council has carried out 83 activities and detected 137 deficiencies, in addition to the seizure of 30 kilograms of food in poor hygienic and sanitary conditions, which has led to the closure of the shop.
Asfar as hospitality is concerned, 390 establishments in the Old Town and First Ensanche have been inspected, within the 2,601 inspections carried out, 80 per cent of which have been correct; 90 minutes have been drawn up for violations of the conditions of activity granted in the licence; 97 for very high noise levels; and 4 minutes for the installation of speakers on the facades of the sales premises.
