Pamplona City Council has suspended programming for children, young people and families due to the orange rainfall alert
The programming of Menudas Fiestas, Birjolastu Juego Rejuego, Kirolari Sport Kids and the Youth Center of the Plaza de los Fueros has been suspended, as well as the activities planned in the neighborhoods of the city, as well as the performance of the Ardantzeta Dance Group.
The Pamplona City Councilhas suspended the activities planned for this afternoon under the official Sanfermines programme, after the State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) has activated the orange rainfallalert, which will enter into force at 16:00 .
The decision will affect especially the children's, youth and family areas, whose activities take place from 18:00. In particular, the programming of Menudas Fiestas, Birjolastu Juego Rejuego, Kirolari Sport Kids and Gazte Gune in the Plaza de los Fueroshas been suspended. The activities planned in different neighborhoods of the city, as well as the performance of the Ardantzeta Dance Group , have also been suspended.
The City Council has informed the groups and associations responsible for managing the sites where the activities were to be carried out, as well as the Runa Park fairgrounds, of the cancellation, so that they may take appropriate measures.
The inter-agency team set up to coordinate actions in the face of extreme weather events will meet again at 6 p.m. toassess the situation and decide on the development of the night activities planned for this holiday.
The City Council has asked the citizens to be very vigilant and attentive to the updates that will be given through the official channels throughout the day.
