A young man has been arrested in Ribera Alta for brutally killing a man
The victim was located near a house in Viloria and the alleged aggressor was arrested hours later in Añana.
The Ertzaintza received a warning about 10:00 this Sunday. A relative of the victim warned that another person had assaulted the man and then fled. It happened near a house in Viloria.
Police patrols and an ambulance went to the scene and found that the wounded man had died. The judicial authority was immediately informed, and the investigation was activated. It's in the hands of the Alava Territorial Criminal Investigation Service.
About one o'clock in the morning, officers located the suspect in Añana and arrested him on charges of murder.
The victim's body was transferred to the Vitoria Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
The Ertzaintza keeps the investigation open and the detainee will be brought before the court within the next few hours.
