A man has been arrested in San Sebastian for stabbing a person in a barbecue in the chest
A 29-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing a person in the chest after entering a barbecue where the victim was in Donostia-San Sebastián, where he had to be taken to a hospital, according to the Department of Safety and Security.
Agents of the Ertzaintza arrested on Monday night a man accused of assaulting another man with a knife in the Bidebieta neighbourhood of the capital of Guipuzcoana. The victim suffered a chest wound and had to be taken to hospital .
The incident took place around 8 p.m. yesterday in the Bidebieta neighbourhood, where a call alerted to the incident and health care was requested. Immediately, agents of the Ertzaintza came to the scene and contacted the victim and several witnesses.
They all reported that the assailant had appeared at the place where a barbecue was being held and had attacked the assailant , stabbinghim in the chest with a knife, and had fled.
The victim needed health care and was taken to Donostia Hospital, where the officers identified the persons present and took a statement from them, and two hours later they managed to arrest the aggressor for an injury offence.
The detainee, aged 29, was transferred to police stations to carry out the necessary procedures and will then be brought before the court.
