A third person was arrested on Monday in Algorta for assaulting a man

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in Getxo forhis alleged connection to the stab attack on the Monday Algorta neighborhood, where two other people were arrested on the same day.

The Basque Government's Department of Security has recalled that on Monday afternoon, 11 August, around 2.20 p.m., a call alerted that a fight was taking place in Algorta between several people.

When the police arrived, they found three people, two of whom were injured. A nurse was taking care of the most seriously injured person and, in view of his abdominal injuries, had to be taken to Cruces Hospital.

Two men, aged 25 and 20, were arrested by local police on charges of injury, and were transferred to the Getxo police station, where they remained until they were brought before the court on Tuesday 12.

The Ertzaintza, in collaboration with the Getxo Municipal Police, conducted the investigation last Thursday and arrested the third person involved, a 30-year-old man, for an alleged crime of stab injuries .

The detainee was transferred to police stations to carry out the necessary procedures and was taken to court on Friday morning.
