The University of Navarre is one of the top 500 universities in the world. The University of Bordeaux, on which the Bayonne campus depends, is among the top 300.
UPV-EHU remains among the top 400 universities in the world, according to this year's edition of the Shanghai ranking, the most prestigious university campus ranking worldwide.
TheUniversityof Navarre K (501-600), in addition to the University of Bordeaux , on which the Baiona campus depends, is among the top 300.
The list of the top ten in Spain is the same as last year. The first is the University of Barcelona, which maintains last year's status, since its best ranking is among the 200 positions, followed by the University of Valencia (from 2013 to 300), the Autonomous of Barcelona and Madrid, the Complutense, the Pompeu Fabra, Granada and the UPV, again in the 301-400, and the Polytechnic of Valencia and Seville in the 401-500.
For 23 consecutive years, leadsthe rankingof Harvard , followed by Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Among the top ten are also Cambridge (4), Berkeley (5), Oxford (6), Princeton (7), Caltech (8), Columbia (9) and California Institute of Technology (10).
In continental Europe, the first university on the list is Paris-Saclay, an area in which it continues to lead, as it ranks thirteenth, followed by ETH of Zurich at twenty-two.
Of the Asians, the Tsinghua (18) has gone up four places, and is the best in Asia, while the Melbourn (38) has led the classification of the Oceans for fifteen consecutive years.
The list examines six indicators : the number of students who have won the Nobel Prize or the Fields Medal; teachers with the Nobel Prize or Fields; researchers' quotes; articles from Nature and Science, academic performance per capita; and works from the Index expanded and Social Science Citacion Index.
