Following the discovery of the body of a 51-year-old man in a building in Legazpi, investigations opened on Friday by the Ertzaintza have been completed, after the Basque Institute of Legal Medicine confirmed that the cause of death was not violent.
The body was found around 7 a.m. in a building in Legazpi, where the Gipuzkoa Territorial Investigation Service and the Eye Inspection Section of the Scientific Police Headquarters were located.
Following the first police investigations from the police station in Deba Urola and the presence of a judicial team, the body was transferred to the Basque Institute of Legal Medicine in San Sebastián for an autopsy. This Saturday, according to information received from the aforementioned forensic service, it has been established that the cause of death would not be violent.
