The well-known Pirotecnia Valenciana has this year won the Golden Shell at the annual San Sebastian Big Week Fireworks International Competition, and has been awarded first place to the Peña Roja de Castellón in the Palmaris of this year's Super Amara Young Jury Award, the International Fireworks Competition of the Big Donostiarra Week.

They have cited "the choice of colors, the use of space, the rhythm, originality and the final plot" among the reasons why Peña Roja has been declared winner.
