The Civil Guard confirmed on Wednesday that the remains that appeared in the Yesa swamp on August 4 belong to a man who lived in Pamplona and is being investigated as a homicide .
The investigation has been taken over by the Zaragoza Civil Guard in collaboration with the Foral Police and the Pamplona Municipal Police, which have reported that all indications indicate that one or more persons killed the man.
The remains were found late in the afternoon of the 4th of August by a family returning from the area, who appeared on a bank of the swamp, in the municipality of Zigoze (Zaragoza), when the drought began to lower their water levels.
