Journalist Maribel Vilaplana breaks the silence: "It was a coincidence to have lunch with Mazon."
After ten months of silence, the journalist Maribel Vilaplana explained in an open letter her lunch with the President of Valencia, Carlos Mazón, with whom she said she had been from 18:30 to 18:45, although the president himself stated that she was in the office of the Generalitat at 18:00.
The reporter explains that the lunch was interrupted several times because of the numerous calls received by the president. However, he points out that Mazon did not show him any concern and therefore points out that he did not know what was happening at the time. "It was a coincidence and it was up to those responsible to explain it," he stresses.
On the other hand, Vilaplana has reported that she has been harassed in recent months and that as a result she had to be hospitalized.
