March for Palestine on Thursday in Hego Euskal Herria
On the occasion of the international call by the Global Movement for Gaza and the Global Sumud Flotilla, the Day of the Struggle for Palestine will be held tomorrow, 18 September, in the three capitals of Hego Euskal Herria.
Under the slogan "Let's break the blockade of Gaza. Let's defend the Global Sumud Flotilla!", in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the first meeting will take place at 13:00 with the loud chain of people around the Basque Parliament. In the afternoon, the mobilizations will take place at 7:00 p.m.: in Bilbao, the demonstration will depart from the Sacred Heart.
September 18 will be the Day of the Struggle for Palestine, and the date chosen for this is not random. Indeed, last year, on the same day, the UN adopted a resolution calling on Israel to end the occupation of the occupied Palestinian territories. But the occupation has not ended, and tomorrow's mobilizations will take place with calls for immediate intervention.
