The Territorial Court of Gipuzkoa has ordered the Toulouse Examining Court to reopen the case of young Xuhar Pazos, who has deemed it necessary to conduct proceedings that were not conducted.
During last year's carnivalin Toulouse, the 16-year-old received afoam ball from theErtzaintza inthe eye, resulting in a loss of vision.
The Ertzaintza reported that there was an altercation in a bar, while the family reported that Xuhar had not participated in the altercations.
The Toulouse Examining Court shelved the case, ruling that "the Ertzaintza acted in accordance with the law and proportionally ".
The injured young man's lawyer has reported that the judge filed the case without taking a statement from the victim.
For this reason, and in response to the family's appeal, the Territorial Court of Gipuzkoa has considered it necessary to carry out proceedings which were not carried out and has therefore ordered the case to be reopened.
Events
According to the Ertzaintza, a fight broke out in a bar in Toulouse and spread into the street, when agents loaded and wounded young Xuhar Pazos as a result of a punch.
Previously, during the quarrel, another young man had to be taken to a hospital with punched wounds.
During the police action, the Ertzaintza used riot control equipment , where several persons were identified and two young men were arrested for carrying at least one extendable bar.
The mayor of Toulouse, Andu Martinez de Rituerto, reported that the young man had been injured by a ball and demanded that the facts be clarified "as soon as possible".
On the other hand, the young man's relatives told EITB Media that the minor had nothing to do with last night's altercations and that he had been "suddenly" caught in the middle. The doctors assumed that the young man would suffer from vision problems, with a detached retina and a lacrimal injuryof k.
So,in solidarity with the young\u00A0,the concentration was held in the Tolosa Triangle.
