The 23-year-old victim has been taken to Zumarraga Hospital to be treated for cuts to her face and chest.

According to the Basque Government's Department of Safety, the victim is hospitalized after a severe blow to the head. 

The protest took place in October last year at the headquarters of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia in Bilbao, where activists displayed a banner and one of them was chained inside the building .  They have been fined for public disorder under article 36.3 of the Gag Act.

The woman worked as a caretaker in nursing homes and homes, where she allegedly stole jewellery. The Ertzaintza has recovered numerous pieces during a search in Azpeitia.

The attack took place in the Zaramaga neighbourhood of Vitoria-Gasteiz, where the victim, aged 25, was found unconscious in the street with two stab wounds to the back. 

Twelve people aged between 24 and 48 were travelling in the vehicle he was driving, who have been transferred to police stations for identification and will soon make arrangements with foreigners, and several passports have been found in the search of the van.
