772 kilograms of cocaine have been seized in Hendaia

Hendaia Customs Brigade has reported the seizure of 772.68 kilograms of cocaine worth31 million euros.
This is the third operation in September in which two other shipments of 262.98 and 360 kilograms of cocaine were seized at the beginning of the month, the brigade said in a statement.
The Hendaia Customs Brigade found a truck on the A-63 from south to north, and the search of the goods indicated it was empty.
Agents spotted a vertical wall at the bottom of the vehicle and found 21 bags with 772.68 kilos of cocaine.
These three cocaine confiscations have collected almost 1.4 tons, representing 7% of the cocaine seized in France by 2024.
Last year, French customs seized 20.97 tons of cocaine.
