The Council wants to bring together thousands of Euskaltzales on 27 December in Bilbao, focusing on the "soundtrack of the Basque Country"

On December 27 Bilbao Arena (Miribilla Stadium), the Basque Council of Culture presented on Tuesday more keys to the massive event that aims to give "a new breath to the Euskera" and that aims to unite ,000 Euskaltzales.

The meeting, which has been organized in Bilbao with a prominent presence of Basque musicians and composers, will have a cultural character, and the organizers have indicated thatthe tickets    from the 16th of October  will be available from Pizkundea.eus  on the website  for10 euros.

The SecretaryGeneral of the Basque Culture Council, Idurre Eskisabel , has stressed that, at the end of the recovery period of recent decades and in the face of the great danger of the recession euskara , "itis time to give a new renaissance to the Euskera ". 

To do this, they want to bring together thousands of Euskaltzales in Bilbao at the end of December,  "Strengthen the muscle of Euskaltzalism" and " interact with each otherat the critical moment "that the Euskera lives.

Although they have indicated that they will elaborate the details later, the event will take place with music and culture as its axis: "The Euskera, if it is going to have a future, needs a universe, and that universe is culture, culture in Basque, even though it knows that it will add additional difficulties to them, it is the culturers who create it in Basque who offer it to us." 

It is the "time for a new initiative", the time to bring the Euskera  to the front line and "make a real leap". In this context, Euskal encourages Euskaltzales to participate in this event aimed at the citizens of all corners of the Basque Country.
