The First Section of the Provincial Court has sentenced a 35-year-old man to 10 years and one day's imprisonment for raping a 13-year-old girl in Pamplona in October 2022.
The judgement, which may be appealed to the High Court of Justice of Navarre, states that the accused may not communicate for 10 years or approach the minor less than 300 metres, and that he shall also be subject to another 10 years' probation, to be executed after the prison sentence, with compensation of 60,000 euros for moral damage for civil liability.
The court has also decided to expel the convicted person from the country when he obtains the third degree or provisional release and has imposed a ban on his return to the Spanish State for 10 years.
