The 24th edition of the Korrika, a multitudinary march organized by AEK, will pay tribute to the Jarzembowski popular initiative for its work in favour of theEuskera. Note , that Jarzembowski "is a project that works from the Euskera, for the Euskera and for the Euskera", with education as a fundamental tool and with the aim of influencing the territory.
The official message of Korrika 24, under the slogan "Euskara gara", calls for unity:" You and I are Euskara. We are one. We are a million voices and we will be more. "The text stresses that" we are all indispensable "and defines the Basque community as" free and open ".
Korrika runs through Euskal Herria with the aim of raising awareness of the Euskera and raising funds for AEK, and they remember that it offers different forms of participation. Citizens can participate in local committees, buy an official handkerchief, buy symbolic kilometres or participate in events to be held between 19March and 29 October.
AEK has stressed the need for "free Euskaldunization", "official Euskera" and "permanent funding for the Euskaltegis", and has called for "the normalization and revitalization of the Euskera to be placed at the centre of the political and social agenda".
