Classes suspended on the UPV/EHU campus in Leioa due to water network breakdown
From 12:00, all activities in the centres and buildings of the Leioa campus have been suspended. The incident will not affect the sports centre or the buildings of the Science Park, where the usual activity can be continued. The Viceroy has reported that work is under way and that the supply is expected to be restored "as soon as possible".
The Vice-Rectorate of the UPV/EHU Bizkaia Campus has informed the university community that from 12:00 this Monday all school eta activities will be suspendedon the Leion campus due to a water supply breakdown.
As reported by the Vice-Rectorate in a statement, in order to carry out the repair, ithas been necessary to close the main water entrance , although work is under way to repair the breakdown and the supply is expected to be restored "as soon as possible".
The suspension only affects the buildings on the Leioa campus, but not the sports centeror the Science Park buildings, which can continue their normal activity.
