A neighbour of Bizkaia has died and seven relatives have been injured in an accident in Biescas
The accident occurred at around 2.15 p.m. on the N-260A road, when a car in which some of the family were travelling collided head-on with another that was driving in the opposite direction, and the car of other family members following it collided with the first.
One person has died and seven others have been injured, all from the same family in Bizkaia, in the collision that took place this Monday between the two cars on the N-260A road (Pyrenean axis) and another driving in the opposite direction.
According to the Civil Guard, the accident took place around 2.15 p.m. at the 508 kilometre of the road, where the family vehicle that was driving ahead and another that was driving in the opposite direction collided head-on, and then the second family car collided with the first.
The driver of the first car in the accident, a 38-year-old man, has died, while another 38-year-old man, two women aged 34 and 66 and a 12-month-old baby have been injured, while the 47-year-old driver and two minors have been injured in the second family vehicle.
All the injured, including the driver of the other car involved, have been taken by ambulance to Jaca Hospital to be treated for the injuries sustained, with the exception of the 66-year-old woman, who has been taken in a helicopter by the emergency services 112 to Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza.
The road has been completely cut off until 5:00, forcing traffic to be diverted by other roads until 5:00.
