Thirteen flights to land at Bilbao airport have been diverted due to the strong southern wind that has struck Bizkaia.
According to Aena sources, thirteen flights from Alicante, Menorca, London, Paris, Madrid, Tenerife, Barcelona, Granada, Istanbul and Munich have not been able to land in Loiu.
Most have landed at Foronda, Vitoria airport, and one has been diverted to Biarritz, but others have ended up in farther Asturias and Madrid.
However, flights from Madrid, Munich and Frankfurt have landed in Bizkaia.
