The Ertzaintza opened an investigation this morning after the body of a woman was found in a house in Barakaldo, according to a press release.
Around 11:30 a.m., the woman's relatives alerted the Ertzaintza that she had been found unconscious at her home, indicating that she was apparently dead.
Officers and doctors from the Sestao police station have come to the scene and confirmed the death.
A judicial procession has been formed and an investigation has been opened to clarify what happened.
