Three men, a 48-year-old man from Irun and a 55-year-old neighbour of the Hoya region of Huesca, as well as a 36-year-old woman from Zaragoza, died in the avalanche while practicing mountain skiing on the western flank of Mount Tablato, near the Panticosa spa.
Funeral services moved the bodies to the Institute of Legal Medicine in the Aragonese capital.
In addition, a 60-year-old man from Ordizia and a 51-year-old man from Zaragoza were unharmed, according to the Civil Guard.
