The Sallent de Gallego City Council (Huesca) has called for a day of mourning this Monday, December 29, in memory of the three people killed in the avalanche around the Panticosa spa.
Eneko Arrastua, 48, a neighbour of Irun, had a flat in this village in the Tena Valley. In addition, pediatrician and influencer Jorge García-Dihinx lived in this city for a few years and maintained a special bond between him and his partner, Natalia Ramon, 36, a neighbour of Zaragoza, who also died in the accident.
"The snow that represents so much is capable, at one point, of taking the lives of the people who make up our own," said the Sallent de Gallego City Council, which has also asked the 29-year-old Lara Ugalde, a neighbour of Ordizia, and the rest to "recover quickly."
