Three women forced into prostitution have been released by the Ertzaintza in Getxo. All three were living in unbearable conditions. In connection with this crime, two other women have been arrested for coercion of their victims. The detainees are also charged with drug trafficking and unauthorized sale of medicines.
As reported on Saturday by the Basque Government's Department of Security, everything happened yesterday afternoon following an investigation launched in September by the Ertzaintza.
As we said, the three women lived in unbearable conditions, in a room of 3.5 square feet, without freedom of movement.
Investigators found that 50 per cent of the proceeds were donated to the two women detained by the victims.
