Six people have been injured in Falces after their car left the track
All the wounded have been taken to hospital and admitted with reserved prognosis, five of them minors.
Six people were injured on Monday afternoon in Falces (Navarre) after their car left the road and fell downhill.
The accident occurred around 4.45 p.m. on an asphalt road leading to the Basilica of the Savior of Falces, where the vehicle fell about 5 metres from the embankment.
The SOS Navarra Emergency Management Centre has mobilized firefighters from the Peralta Park, two basic life-support ambulances, an advanced (medicalized) life-support ambulance, a medical team from the area and patrols from the Falces Local Police and Road Safety at the Tudela Police Station.
As a result of the accident, six persons have been taken to the Navarra University Hospital in Pamplona/Iruña. The driver, a 20-year-old male, has suffered polycontusions and has been admitted with reserved prognosis. The remaining wounded are minors and have been admitted to paediatrics, all with reserved prognosis.
Members of the Attestation Brigade of the Tudela Foral Police are investigating the causes and dynamics of the accident.
