When they tried to stop it, the driver fled and, after crossing several streets, was hit on the GI-20 road in the Aiete neighbourhood.
The note states that several people of Asian origin were travelling inside the channel, some of whom had attempted to flee. They were located by the Ertzaintza outside the city. Ds were taken to a police station.
A minor was also intercepted inside the van, which was handed over to a reception centre in San Sebastian by the Municipal Social Emergency Service (SMUS).
