Toulouse Hospital will be built by 2031
The Government has awarded a project for the construction of a hospital with an investment of 107.6 million. The hospital will be located at the entrance to the municipality, on a plot of almost 8,500 square metres, with 90 hospitalization beds and 380 professionals operating.

Osakidetza has tendered the project for the construction of the hospital in Tolosa (Gipuzkoa), with an investment of 107.6 million euros, so that by 2031 Tolosaldea will have a hospital. EuUS Government has reported in a statement that the new hospital will begin to be built in 2028 and will be completed in three years.
The new hospital will be located on a plot of 8,445 square meters , on the southeast side of the Larramendi hill. The site is currently a truck parking lot at the entrance to the municipality. The building will have seven floors: 4 on the surface and three underground, of which two will be for parking.
The center will have high-resolution external consultations with diagnostic procedures and complementary tests, as well as surgery and medical hospitalization for patients with low complexity acute chronic disease and convalescence patients with 90 beds. The new hospital will also have emergency services.
The specialtieswill be digestive apparatus, dermatology, endocrinology, gynaecology and obstetrics, neurology, rehabilitation, pneumology, allergy, cardiology, hematology, internal medicine, rheumatology, anesthesiology, general surgery, ophthalmology, otorrinolaringology, traumatology and urology.
A total of 380 professionals are expected to work, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, wardens and other workers with a more specific profile, such as optometrists, physiotherapists or social workers, as well as 98 other general service workers.
The new hospital will depend on the Donostialdea OSI.
