Two solar parks have been projected in Vitoria and Arratzua-Ubarrundia with 23,000 panels
The Official Gazette of the Basque Country published this resolution on Monday for the two projects of 5 MWn planned by the Society of Photovoltaic Exploitation Iota.
The Basque Government has publicly submitted applications for authorization for the installation of two new solar parks in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Arratzua-Ubarrundia, where more than 23,000 panels would be installed.
On Monday, the Official Gazette of the Basque Country published this resolution for the two projectsof 5 MW planned by the Society of Photovoltaic Exploitation Iota.
The first project envisages the construction of a solar plant of 11,760 modules, an underground evacuation line nearly 4 kilometres long and 9.6 hectares of surface area.
The so-called Helios Vitoria would be located on Vitoria land and has a total budget of around EUR 2.3 million.
The second project, Helios Vitoria 2, consists of 11,396 modules with a total power of MWn. It has 6 km of underground evacuation line and 2.6 km of air.
This project, which has an area of almost 9.9 hectares, will be located on the land of the municipalities of Arrazua-Ubarrundia, with a budget of approximately EUR 4.6 million.
With the publication of this announcement, a period of one month is opened for citizens and institutions to examine the documentation relating to both projects and, where appropriate, to make allegations.
