A 31-year-old man convicted of sexual abuse of minors has been arrested by the Vitoria-Gasteiz Local Police on charges of re-offending while awaiting trial by attending a sports competition between minors and photographing participants.

He committed these attackswhile serving another sentence for sexual abuse of minors in 2015 when he got permission to leave prison.

He violated the precautionary measures on March 7, when the arrested man made a gift to a minor, , and tried to get personal information about him, and a few days later he went to a game of the minor and photographed both the minor and his teammates.
Once the necessary measureshad been taken to ascertain these facts, and after the man's whereabouts had been known, the police officers went to his home and arrested him.
