Suicide is one of the main causes of unnatural death in the Basque Country and throughout the Spanish State. It is a major public health problem and a preventable reality.

The Basque Government has relaxed the minimum limit which has hitherto been set for 25 years.

This is a multi-channel strategy aimed at explaining to the public the main measures put in place by the Basque Government to deal with the residential emergency. Auver coincides with the publication of the Decree   on housing measures that will enter into force tomorrow, 12 May. 

The complaint includes the case of the family of five girls who committed suicide, as well as 10 girls and boys with anorexia, depression or suicidal tendencies who report that the social network abused vulnerability because minors are vulnerable and the social network exploits that vulnerability.

In the Basque Autonomous Community there are 220,000 young people between the ages of 10 and 19, the highest number since 1999. In Navarre there were not as many teenagers since the early 1990s. In Hego Euskal Herria there are about 300,000 adolescents.

The law, which will enter into force from next year, provides for the prohibition of the sale of tobacco products to persons born after 2008, as well as the prohibition of smoking electronic cigarettes in passenger cars, children's parks or in the vicinity of schools and hospitals.

In this neighbourhood of Donostia-San Sebastián, there are more than 3000 people between the ages of 0 and 19. Now, after studying primary school, they are forced to leave the neighbourhood.
