A football referee, a minor, reported insults and threats during a game in Basauri

A football referee, a minor woman, has reported receivinginsults and threats during a Third Division football match played this weekend in Basauri(Bizkaia).

According to the minutes of that football game, several players from the Basauri football team made offensive statements such as "daughter of whore"(bastard) or"you have to killyou ". The events took place on Saturday atthe Soloarte football fieldbetween the Basauri BEA and the Delta Duoof Trapagaran.

The outsiders tied the match at the last minute (3-3) eta, apparently after that, against the juvenile judge.

After the football game, they were knocking violently at the door of his locker room amid threats, according to the underage woman.

The Competition Committee of the Bizkaina Football Federation   is meeting today, 24, to discuss what happened  and to consider possible measures. 

A few days earlier, thechairman of the Committee of Arbitrators of the Basque Country, Jon Núñez , had warned of the consequences of this type of behaviour, especially among minors, and had pointed out that they can be marked "for life". In some cases, he explained, young arbitrators must wear identification bracelets to try to deal with these situations.

Despite what happened, the young man explained his intention to continue arbitrating at the next football games .
