Basauri BEA apologizes but questions part of the published versions
The group assures that what happened does not reflect their values and argues that it is necessary to clarify what happened by putting all the versions on the table: "What was recorded in the arbitration record and published information is not entirely in line with what happened."
The C.D. Basauri BEA Club has apologized publicly for the recent incidentsreported in the media. In a statement, the organization has "deeply" lamented the tension, intimidation or inappropriate behaviour that occurred that day.
The club has stressed that these events do not represent their values, based on respect, coexistence and sport, and has reaffirmed its commitment to fair play, and has apologized to all those who may have felt affected.
On the other hand, the organization has stated that "the information published in the arbitration record eta does not fully correspond to what has happened", and therefore considers it necessary to clarifythe facts with rigour and in all its versions. In this regard, it has warned that urgent trials may unjustly harm both individuals and the club itself.
In addition, the Basauri group has announced that it is working to analyse the incident and will cooperate with the competent authorities and institutions to fully clarify the situation, while ensuring that it will take the necessary measures to ensure that similar events do not recur.
