The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa has organized a series of activities in four localities for the 18th of April so that citizens who are not going to Seville can live the atmosphere of the final.
Lasarte, Tolosa, Zarautz and Zumarraga will host fan zones on April 18 A so that the final of the Copa del Rey between the Real Sociedad and Atlético de Madrid can be followed through the big screens.
It is an initiative of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa with the aim of extending the atmosphere of the final to different parts of the territory. In a note, the foral institution reports that the departments of Culture and Sport, Sustainability and Mobility will organize the events in collaboration.
Among other things, the Department of Mobility will strengthen the Lurraldebus service to facilitate travel to these towns to residents of neighbouring municipalities.
Goizane Alvarez, MP for Culture and Sports, has said that those who are not going to Seville want the final to continue and enjoy. "We want the whole of Gipuzkoa to have the opportunity to celebrate together," he added.
In addition to installing large screens, they have organized extensive programming that will combine activities for all ages.
Also in San Sebastian, in collaboration with the City Council and the Royal Society, a fan area will be set up in the garden of Alderdi Eder.
