The body of a woman was found this morning on the Itzurun beach in Zumaia (Gipuzkoa), according to the Basque Government's Department of Security.
A person walking around the area found the body around 07:55 and alerted the Ertzaintza.
The Ertzaintza and the judicial authorities have come to the scene and opened an investigation to clarify the incident.
