The National Police have arrested eight people in Navarre in connection with the incidents that occurred at the end of the match between Osasuna and Real Madrid in El Sadar on 21 February. They are charged with public disorder and an attack on authority.
That day, at the end of the game, security personnel from Sadar went to the South Grader-Red Indies to identify an amateur who allegedly threw a bottle into the field. There was a riot and the Spanish police attacked some fans in the stands and in the halls of the stadium.
Two people were arrested and two others injured. One of the wounded had to be taken to hospital. Two officers were also slightly injured, according to police.
