The Squad, the winning poster that will announce the Sanfermines of 2026
The work of the Pamplonese artist Marta Garatea combines the moments and characters of the party with warm and vivid colors. The poster, chosen by popular vote, has been the largest participation in its history, with more than 10,000 votes.
The 2026 Sanfermines will be announced by the Marta Garatea Pamplonese Gang, which includes many moments and characters of the party.
The mayor of Pamplona/Iruña, Joseba Asiron, together with the deputy councillor for Culture, Festivities and Sports, Maider Beloki, has presented the work that the Pamplenses have given the most support to among the ten finalists.
The poster conveys the spirit of the sanfermines, reflecting the richness of the moments, traditions and experiences that make up the festivities. It is a workof great dynamism, full of intense compositions and movements, in which the collective and participatory character of the festival stands out.
Many elements produce an almostvacui horror effect , but this also reinforces the intensity of the sanfermines and the sense of intemperance.
