12 minors have been evacuated from Loiu airport to hospital for possible gastroenteritis
They were waiting to get on a flight to Lanzarote, and some of them are starting to have vomiting and dizziness. They're between 11 and 12 years old, and they're part of a pre-arranged trip.

The12 minors \u00A0 who were waiting for a flight to Lanzarote were treated on Saturday afternoon by the co-operative O, who was evacuated by ambulance from Bilbao airport to the university hospitals of Cruces and Basurto, some of them after suffering vomiting and feeling dizziness , boys and girls with mild symptoms compatible with gastroenteritis.
The Department of Health has reported that minors are between the agesof 11 and 12 and are part of a previously scheduled trip. During the waiting period of the s, some of them have been found unwell, which has led to the rapid activation of Osakidetza's emergency ambulance services.
Several ambulances have moved to the airport itself, where the health teams have made an initial assessment and organised an assistance operation.
Then, on a preventive basis, 12 minors are taken to the hospitals in Cruces and Basurto for a more complete evaluation.
The young patients treated in these two centres have shownmild symptomsof gastroenteritis compatible and no severity has been detected in their condition.
The paediatric emergency services are making the corresponding assessments, and depending on the number of cases, it is not ruled outthatthe viral origin is , or that it is linked to food.
Osakidetza has stressed that it is managing the situation with absolute normality and that no extra services have had to be activated thanks totheusual responsiveness of the Basque public health system.
The Department of Health has highlighted "the rapid andeffectiveintervention of ambulances and health personnel , whose work at the airport itself and on the way to hospitals has been key to ensuring fluid and safe care, as well as the coordination and professionalism of the emergency services in the hospitals of Cruces and Basurto ".
Osakidetza has reported that it will closely monitor patient development , but has sent a message of reassurance because the situation is not serious.
