A man living in Navarre has been arrested on charges of killing a young man in La Rioja
The attack took place in Fuenmayor, 14 kilometres from Logroño. In addition to the deceased, a woman was injured and hospitalized.
The Civil Guard has arrested a 31-year-old man resident in Navarre accused of beating a 26-year-old man to death in La Rioja, according to data provided by the Government delegation in La Rioja.
The attack took place last night in Fuenmayor, 14 kilometers from Logroño, and on the street.
The Civil Guards who came to the scene of the attack found the man on the ground in a serious condition and, although they tried to revive him, he died.
The victim was 26 years old and although he was of Portuguese origin, he lived in Logroño.
The alleged aggressor, a neighbour of Navarre, has been arrested at the scene by the Civil Guard, without specifying, for the time being, which town of Navarre he resides in.
In addition to the deceased, a woman has been injured and taken to hospital.
The Civil Guard has opened an investigation to determine what happened.
