The Ertzaintza has opened an investigation to clarify the death of a 46-year-old man in Mundaka, according to the Basque Government's Department of Security.
The body was found last Sunday around 7:00 p.m. at the deceased's home in Mundaka.
Pending the outcome of the autopsy, the Ertzaintza keeps all hypotheses open.
UPDATE (13/07/2026) The Ertzaintza has completed the investigation and found no evidence of crime. According to the Department of Safety and Security, no evidence has been found of any intervention or indication of homicide.
