The National Police arrested at least 23 people on Wednesday in the Pamplona region, as confirmed by EITB.
On the occasion of the event planned by far-right activist Vito Quiles at the University of Navarre in connection with the incidents at the University of Navarre on 30 October.
Although the appointment was finally cancelled, there were incidents between anti-fascist demonstrators and Spanish National Police officers, both in the university compound and in the streets of the Iturrama neighbourhood.
In addition, two people were arrested and five people were injured.
The operation is still open and there could be more arrests.
Against these 23 arrests, a demonstration was called at 7 p.m. in Navarrería.
