A 28-year-old drowned in the Arga River on the Island
The Navarre Government has reported that it has accidentally fallen into the water and disappeared in the vicinity of the Dorraburu dam.
A 28-year-old man fell accidentally this Thursday into the Arga River in the Navarre town of Huarte, where he drowned.
The SOS Navarra 112 emergency service received notice of the accident at 11:48 a.m. and the Cordovilla fire brigade, the Aquatic Rescue Group (GRA), an advanced life-support ambulance (medicalized) and patrols of the local police and the Foral Police were moved to the site.
Accordingtothe Navarre Government, the deceased, a 28-year-old male, has accidentally fallen into the i bay and disappeared near the Dorraburu dam in Huarte.
Emergency services found the body near where it fell into the water, but nothing could be done to revive the young man who died there.
The body of the deceased will be transferred to the Navarro Institute of Legal Medicine for autopsy. The investigation of the accident has been conducted by members of the Northern Judicial Brigade of the Foral Police.
