How will International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day be celebrated in the Basque Country?
On 28 June, International Pride Day, various activities will be held in the capitals of the Basque Country and Navarre this Saturday and Sunday to claim the rights of the LGTBIQ+ community.

Various groups and public institutions in Bilbao, San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Pamplona have organized an extensive programme of activities on the occasion of International Pride Day, including cultural, festive and vindictive activities.
In Bilbao, the activities will revolve around the Bilbao Bizkaia Harro festival, organized by the platform of the same name, which aims to protect the diversity of affective sex and express solidarity for the rights of LGBTI people.
Under the slogan "When hatred expels, the community embraces it," activities will begin this Friday with the VIII Drag Gala Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO, a festival that will reward the best new talent in the Arenal from 6.30 p.m. Once completed, there will be several musical performances in the Arenal itself and in the Albia Garden.
On Saturday, June 27, the main event will be the Pride March, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Square, which will run all over the Main Street, will build human flags at various points and will reach the Arenal, where there will be various activities.
In the evening, at 9 p.m., Soraya's concert and DJ Dennis Moore's performance will take place in the Arenal at 11 p.m.
On the other hand, on Sunday, 28 June, there will be gastronomic, sporting and cultural activities.
San Sebastian
San Sebastian will hold its main events on June 28, under theslogan "Kalera harro! Disidencia y resistencia" . The Pride Demonstration will begin at 12:00 on the Boulevard, convened by Gehitu and other LGTBIQ+ collectives. The march will tour the city centre and end with the reading of the manifesto and the speeches of the convening organizations.
Vitoria
In Vitoria-Gasteiz, the events will take place mainly on 28 June and will be promoted by Coordinator E28, Ikusgunea (LGTBI+ Observatory) and other groups, with the institutional support of the City Council. The day will begin at 12 noon and after various gastronomic and cultural events, the Pride Demonstration will take place at 7 p.m. from the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca.
At the end of the march, a manifesto will be read and a closing party organized by LGTBIQ+ groups will be held at the Gaztetxe.
Pamplona
From 27 to 28 June, the Navarre capital will host a series of activities organized by various associations, the Government of Navarre and the City Council. On Saturday, the afternoon of Pre Pride will take place in the Plaza de los Recoletas, led by the Phoenix Association.
On the other hand, on Sunday, the E28J platform has called for a demonstration for Pride, which will begin at 12:00 in the center of Pamplona and will travel the main streets of the city.
