A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the Ertzaintza in Urretxu (Gipuzkoa) on charges of wounding a roommate with a knife and cutting his face and chest. The24-year-old victim has been taken to Zumarraga Hospital for treatment.
According to the Department of Safety and Security in a statement , the attack took place around 4 p.m. on Friday in a home in the Guipuzcoana town.
When the Ertzaintza arrived at the scene, the officers located the alleged aggressor outside the house, and inside the victim, another 23-year-old man, who was shirtless, with cuts to the chest and a deeper wound to a cheek, and identified his partners.
According to the victim and witnesses, two men argued and one of them attacked the other with a multi-purpose knife.
The arrested person remains in police custody awaiting trial.
