A 24-year-old boy from Urnieta (Gipuzkoa) died on Saturday as he descended with other mountaineers from Mount Pic du Midi D'Ossau, as reported by ICIand confirmed by EITB.
The mountaineers accompanying the young man explained to the rescuers that the group of about seven mountaineers began to descend from this iconic summit of the Atlantic Pyrenees at about 14:00. As they were raping, the young man slipped and fell from a height of about 20 meters to hit some rocks.
The friends asked for help, but the mountain rescue team was only able to confirm the death of the young man.
