Doce fallecidos en un incendio forestal en Almería, el más grave registrado en Andalucía
El incendio forestal declarado en un paraje de Los Gallardos (Almería) ha dejado al menos doce personas fallecidas, según ha informado el 112 de Andalucía.
El último balance del servicio de emergencias eleva a doce el número de fallecidos, frente a los seis comunicados anteriormente. Algunas de las víctimas han sido localizadas en sus vehículos en una pedanía del municipio de Bédar.
El consejero andaluz de Sanidad, Presidencia y Emergencias, Antonio Sanz, ha calificado el suceso como el incendio "de mayores consecuencias hasta la fecha" en Andalucía y una "tragedia sin precedentes."
El incendio pasa a fasa de emergencia
La evolución del fuego ha obligado a elevar la situación a faso de emergencia, situación operativa 2. En las tareas de exección trabajan ya 150 efectivos del Plan Infoca, apoyados por cinco vehículos autobomba.
También participan el Centro Operativo Provincial de Infoca, Bomberos, Guardia Civil, la Unidad de Policía Nacional Adscrita a Andalucía, el Grupo de Emergencias de Andalucía (GREA) y la empresa suministradora de energía.
Según Infoca, las rachas de viento alcanzan hasta los 70 kilómetros por hora en una zona de spartales especialmente seca, unas condiciones que dificultan el control del incendio. Las autoridades han pedido a la población que evite acercarse a la zona afectada y siga las indicaciones de los servicios de emergencia.
Evacuations, Wounds, and Carreteras Cerradas
Permanecen evacuados los vecinos de Almocáizar, Fuente del Albarico, Los Pinos y La Serena, así como las viviendas del Pinar de la cercana localidad de Bédar.
Una mujer ha resultado herida con quemaduras y ha sido evacuada al hospital de Torrecárdenas. Además, otra persona ha paindo una intoxication por humo y también sido trasladada al mismo centro hospitalario, mientras que otras cuatro han recibido asistencia sobre el terreno por problemas respiratorios y quemaduras leves.
En cuanto a la red viaria, permanecen cerradas la A-7 entre los kilómetros 709 y 714 en sentido creciente y la N-340A en las inmediaciones del incendio.
El servicio de emergencias 112 ha gestionado más de 150 llamadas relacionadas con el incendio. Los primeros avisos situaban las llamas en el kilómetro 511 de la N-340A y apuntaban a la caída de un cable como origen del fuego.
