A woman reported sexual assault last night during the sanfermines

A woman has reported having been sexually assaulted  bart in Pamplona/Iruña in the context of the sanfermines. The alleged perpetratorof the attack has been arrested. The Board of Spokespersons of the City of Pamplona/Iruña has condemned the attack and called on the public to participate in possible rallies organized by the feminist movement.

As can be read from the institutional declaration adopted by the City Council, theattack took place around 4:45 a.m. in Gaztelugibel and three other attacks were reported by so many women for touchingand one person was arrested.

The City Council has shown its total rejection and condemnation of this attack, as well as its full support and solidarity with women and their environment, as well as its absolute respect for their rights and identity.

In the text adopted, the City Council reiterates its rejection and rejection of any aggression, violence or sexist behaviour in the city and undertakes to work to eliminate sexist aggression, improve security and ensure women's full freedom in all types of spaces.

The Pamplona City Council has joined the possible call for protest by the feminist movement in Pamplona/Iruña and has invited citizens to participate in protest events.

Yesterday, the authorities carried out a security balance and reported 12 reports of sexual assault. Specifically, the feminist movement in the Pamplona region has convened a meeting for Sunday (22:00 in Plaza del Castillo).
