Joxerramon Bengoetxea, rector of the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, has stated that the places for students who appealed for low grades in Basque are "provisional" and has ensured that all of this is "recorded in court orders", so these places do not guarantee their stay in the university, since if the Basque grades were valid for the average, many would be left without places.
