Journalist Fonsi Loaiza has reported that she has suffered a fascist attackin San Fernando (Cadiz) and has shown injuries to her nose and eyes with the photograph she has posted on social media.
In a post on X and Instagram, the journalist attributed the attack to "fascist hatred" and said he only remembered being yelled "red, runner-up"before being unconscious.
The journalist, known on social media for her political activism,has thanked the health professionals who treated her after the attack: "In the face of ultra-right-wing violence, the public saves our lives," Loaiza wrote.
He is a PhD in Media and Culture from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and his career has focused on the study of journalism and the relationship between sport, the media and power.
